What a Fun-tastic Day!

What a day! Our fun-filled day started at 10 am at the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden with Sera and Darius. The garden is dedicated to all children in Singapore and is designed for them to learn about nature and plants through play and exploration. You would be thrown out if you are over-age, meaning above 12 years old but they conduct viewing sessions for the out-cast. I feel so privileged! Chloe, our rights to walk in freely. Hehehe!

The 3 of them can't wait to explore the gardens, doing their brisk walking while the adults take a slow stroll behind them.

Darius taking the lead with Sera and Chloe close behind, all ready for the 50 m circuit

The little girls taking their time, enjoying the breeze and greenery

What a cool house, with a slide! I wouldn't mind living in one of these for a change, provided there are no creepy crawlies creeping up onto me.

All of us had a go on the suspension bridge, it's really shaky and of course so fun. Chloe stood in the middle and bounce to make it even more shaky and insist on going again with her cries of 'More! More!' which are met with 'No more!'.

Chloe trying to scoop sand into the bowl.

Having a great time at the playground, digging and filling pails.

Satellite dish in the playground? Sit on it and turn it, you get a tilted merry-go-round.

Water playground! We didn't know they have this so they were all in their wet and swelling diapers. Chloe filling up a can while the little girl pumps the water. Thank goodness we don't have to do this to get water, appreciate the fact that water flows out of the tap effortlessly. They had so much fun that we spent a good 45 minutes here.

Food! They are starving from all the action. Between the 2 of them, they finished the sweet corn, baby carrots, potatoes, cubes of cheese, a packet of juice each while we get to enjoy the left-overs, which is not much.

And guess what, the second part of fun is about to begin after lunch. Explorerkids at Downtown East! 35,000 sq ft indoor playground!

Chloe at the Lit Ball Pool.

This pool is filled with transparent balls and it emits a glow from the bottom making the balls taking on the different hues as the light changes colors. So cool!

There is also the Mega Play, a 3-level obstacle play course which Chloe crawled, tunneled and climbed through without much sweat while I huffed and puffed behind her.

Disco divas! 'I can jump and dive into the foam.'

From far, this pool of transparent plastic balls looks like foam. Foam parties! Remember?

'What shall we do now?'

'I know, I'll wash your hair and you do mine later.'

The the Toddler Play area, for kids under 3. This is a nice place for the family, I'm really impressed with the service of the staff. The supervisor at the Lit Pool carried Chloe to the side, near us so that the older kids will not stepped on her accidentally in their excitement. An over age limit boy was physically carried out after refusing to leave when asked nicely.

This is the first time I don't have to dagger stare the fellow out.

Ferris wheel! An indoor ferris wheel. We ended the day with a ride on the wheel, a rehearsal before we go on the real thing, Singapore Flyer. Here we are, in the 'cage', before take off.

Chloe feeling very excited

Sera, Des and Aunty Phillis in their cage. We took different cage so that we can snap pictures of each other and that's all what I did in the 2 rounds, which lasted less than 10 minutes.

Sera checking out the crowd below her. Do they look like ants to you?
