School's Potluck Picnic

This was the biggest picnic I've ever attended to date and it's so much fun. Chloe is so happy running around with Simon, kicking ball with the other kids and dog watch (Simon's heart skip a beat each time she goes near dogs bigger than her.) She finished 3 bowls of pasta during dinner after the picnic in record time and slept straight through the night. Wheee...!

Taking a leisure walk in dad's arms

The 'food mat'. Fries, chips, fishballs, cakes, cookies... I can't find anything that is not so sinful except for a loaf of bread.

Mommies and dad relaxing.

Walking on higher grounds. Mr. Anxious holding Chloe very securely.

Family of purple. That's the color theme for school this week.

Trying to grab a picture of 3 very busy people. Only Der Nen is looking seriously at the camera while Faith and Chloe are checking out the wipes.

Better. But no one is looking at the camera.

Dancing to the music with dad. And she did a sudden back bend! Laughing and kicking so happily as Simon tries to hold her properly. Is this a deja vu for her? Cos this is the spot I used to teach yoga.

Big sing-a-long session

Go Babies Go!

We had a whale of a great time at our play date yesterday at go-go-bambini with Sera, Jake and Cranston. We load up our very much needed calories and carbos at Jones the Grocer and are all ready to carry and drag these guys up and down the play course. :)

'Hmm... today's soup looks good, I'll have that.'

While I'm busy stuffing my face with food, Chloe went around with Cranston to do some shopping on their own. She was just so happy to go around taking out the cartons of muesli from the shelf and saying hellos to the diners.

'Mix nuts with berries. I'll take this.'

'Did you check out the price?'

Inside the pool of balls. I have to confess, it's my first time jumping into a pool of colored balls and I'm much more excited than the 4 babies inside. Yeah, I was deprived of just fun cos I think I had much more fun climbing trees and tumbling down slopes. I've decided that I'm going to stay in side this pool for the next 2 hours until it's time to go.

A very happy Chloe throwing balls around. She got and started to get bored with the balls after 15 mins, so we moved on to the play course.

See the missing right sock? Once off, forever off. I was surprise that she managed to go through this tunnel without help or rather refuses my help. She just shook my hands off her and proceed, crawling at first then stood up once she grew confident and walked right to the end. Bravo!

And now the other one is a hinder to her climbing so she pulls it off as well.

In the cafe, while the mummies are taking a very much needed break, the three of them are still full of energy, ready to go any time.

So Quiet. Where is Chloe?

For maybe like 15 minutes, there is no sight and sound of Chloe. Well, mama is taking a break on the couch and no one came to me?! Normally, if I'm sitting on the couch or appears to be taking it easy, she will come over with a toy or a book. Hey, it's just too quiet and for too long, yes, 15 minutes of peace and quiet when Chloe is awake is strange.

What is she up to?

There she is! Sunning her 'friends' on the balcony. This is her favorite spot in her favorite place, she will always choose to sit in this corner to people watch. And so she decided that today, she's going to have some company.

Loving Every Moment...

Chloe started attending a playgroup twice a week since the beginning of January and she really loves going to school. She loves the story telling sessions, outdoor play and the music time so much so that she makes me sing all the songs before bedtime. I'm beginning to sound like a broken recorder. :)

This is the reading pond in the reading room. Grab a book and you can snuggle on the cushions to read but Chloe's more interested in the wall mural. Frogs!

One of the many push cars she loves to ride on.

Little Miss Playful

Chloe: 'Hey.... hey...'
Me: 'Peek-a-boo!'
Chloe: 'Hey!'

This is her favorite game since she knows how to walk and hide behind doors. She will do this wherever can conceal her and that's a lot of places, curtains, doors, walls, chairs... Apart from this peek-a-boo game, she recently likes to drag those pull along toys that creates a racket. And not forgetting Mr. Mickey Mouse. Yes, the mouse that is taller than her by a head, which she half drag and half carry throughout the day, even to the balcony to show off to our neighbors. She placed Mickey there one evening and called out to our neighbor's helper to look at Mickey.

She thinks all her bears and Mickey need food and water like her. She will offer them her water after she is done with it and insist that I hugged and kissed them too. She sleeps with Plopper (her beanie dog, the name comes with it) and I have to pat Plopper to sleep on my pillow before she agrees to go to bed.

And the 2 very amusing things she has been trying and is quite good at it now. Walking backwards and making funny faces. She will walk a few steps, stop and giggle and do it again and again tills she is done with it. Ask her to show you a funny face, she will closed her eyes tightly till there are frown lines between her brows and make a small 'o' with her mouth.

Peeking out from behind the wall.

Peek-a-boo can be done with your leg too.

Trying to do the tree pose. I was stretching and doing some yoga poses in the morning and Chloe was watching so attentively. She did this in the evening, trying to stand on one leg with support and of course she is showing off to Simon.

The 'tree' is trying to lift her leg higher.

Dragging her best friend around for walks. Mickey will be on the rocking horse or she will want to ride with him, which is out of the question. How to squeeze the 2 of them on the little horse? Mickey will be sitting on her chair watching her play with her farm animals. Mickey is everywhere.

Mickey will be by her bath tub very soon when she is capable of carrying her down without my help.
