Pictures and Updates

We're back and the reason why we're missing for a while is because our Chloe is getting more mobile and vocal these days. Sitting up, trying to crawl, likes to jump, very attention seeking and she's eating pureed food. So, time is spent entertaining her, cooking, trying to feed and clean up her mess and of course the household chores and our meals. 24 hours a day is not enough. You spot something amiss? Yeah, our Sunny (ex-King of the Soh Residence) is very much neglected these days. No more fetch games. Sigh! :(

Random pictures of Chloe. Enjoy!

I was quite surprise that I'm able to tie the bandanna without any protest from her. It stays on long enough for us to snap a few pictures before she pulls it off.

This picture was taken while I was surfing the net with her on my lap. She was kicking up a big fuss so I whipped out my camera and aim at her. Voila, she stop her fussing instantly and look straight at the camera for this picture.

If you notice, Chloe has a really neat and nice hair line and her hair looks freshly trimmed. Well, we have never trimmed her hair before and she's always mistaken for a boy, even when she's in shocking pink. Are boys getting too colorful these days?

Every girl needs matching accessories, matching headband with her little dress. Waiting eagerly to hit the malls on a hot afternoon.

Uncle Evans trying to fit her little feet into his skates. I guess it will be few more years before she can fit into a pair of skates.

At the waiting area in the clinic waiting for her vaccination. Papa is busy on the phone and Chloe is entertaining herself with the teething toy. It's a carrot. :)

The mega exersaucer! Her most expensive toy to date, gosh, baby toys don't come cheap especially something which you can bounce, rock, turn, play music and comes with an activity table. We were browsing at the baby store in Paragon and Simon plop her into this saucer, she took to it instantly, bouncing and giggling while whacking all the attached toys. The next moment Simon was happily asking her whether she likes it, the rest is history.

Another milestone, sitting up at 7 months old. :) She can now sit and is no longer contented sitting in her baby bouncer which has an incline. She will try to climb out of the bouncer in her attempt to sit up straight. Thank goodness for the safety belt otherwise, she will either be catapulted or tumbled off. (She's bouncing the thing very aggressively. Scary.)
See what I meant, she likes my armchair. We were sharing the seat but she managed to kick me out eventually and make herself real comfortable.

If you think she's so sweet to let me wear the sunglasses on her, you are very wrong. I'm holding on to her hands. We saw this at CK Tang and I put it on to show Simon, he was so amused that he went digging for my phone to capture this cute moment of Chloe.

Facing her out in the carrier while shopping is a good calorie burning activity cos I've to squat and pick up whatever she has kicked off or grabbed. This outward facing direction applies ONLY to the baby section.

We look like an
octopus, she grabbing the toys and me trying to take it away from her.:)

Amidst all the baby minding and chores, we managed to revamp our little plot of garden outside. I forgot to take the 'before' picture so you cannot tell the difference, the previous lot looks really dehydrated and unkempt. Our neighbors are all making great efforts to make the gardens look good and ours looked the most unsightly, to the point of being an eyesore. If you were to drive into my estate, you would have thought you just walk into Botanical Gardens. So either you leave it bare or you do something about it and that's what we have now. Mind you, this is the work of professional horticulturist not me. :)
